Welcome Statement

The Haiti Earthquake that occurred this week is one of the most horrific, natural disasters that has occurred during our lifetime.  Our heart-felt condolences, and those of our beloved Fellowship's membership goes out to all the impacted Haitians around the globe.  This applies whether those individuals actually reside in Haiti, or to those family members, friends, or loved ones in other locales outside of Haiti.  During this trying time, we ask each of our members to pray for the affected individuals and families of the Haitian people.  

I am personally imploring each member to get involved in anyway possible, either through Project Groove Haiti Earthquake, or any other means available through your community, Church, national service organizations, etc., to help our fellow Haitian brothers and sisters in this time of extreme need.

As we have a number of members that are Haitian within our Fellowship, this is the time for each of us to act, and extend that Groove hand of brotherly love.  To our Haitian membership, please feel free to reach out to us, your respective Regional Director, or any other National Officer that maybe able to guide you during this time of need.  This is the time that our membership truly differentiates ourselves from other organizations, as we really have a close-knit relationship with each other.  No matter what disagreements we may have on operational Groove issues, it is catastrophic events such as this Haiti Earthquake that brings us together as "One Nation Under a Groove."
